What to Expect on a Culinary Route

Porto Explorer creates private culinary routes for small groups who want more than a standard sightseeing stop. Each walk is planned in advance, with the route and tastings confirmed before the experience begins.

The experience usually lasts between three and four hours and is arranged for groups of two to eight people. We begin from a central meeting area in Porto and keep the start time aligned with your private booking.

Explore Porto through markets, neighbourhood flavours, and local specialties chosen for your group.

Before the walk, we collect your date, group details, and dietary information so the route can be reviewed properly. Venue availability, tasting choices, and the final route are confirmed before payment is completed.

After the tour, you can also receive local recommendations for places to continue exploring on your own. Guide language is confirmed before booking, subject to availability.
